Are you working in a school environment where you often have to deal with conflicts?  This course offers a unique opportunity to develop the skills of collaborative negotiation.  Interactive presentations and three appropriate case plays will be used to develop your practical skills in conflict resolution. Join us to learn and practice a structured negotiation process including how to prepare thoroughly, ‘speak second’, make a proposal and achieve ‘win-win’ solutions for you and your school!

The Course will run over two and a half days (16 hours in total).

The Course – which is endorsed by South African Council for Educators (SACE) for 15 Professional Development (PD) points – is offered by Peggy O’HAGAN [BSc, HDE, BEd (UNISA), MPhil(St Augustine College)] and Gisela RONTSCH [BA, HDipLib (Rhodes), HDE (UNISA), MPhil (St Augustine College)]

Having pre-registered, on first morning of the course, please arrive between 8h30 and 9h00 for physical registration – during which time tea and coffee will be provided.  (Tea and coffee will also be provided for the mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks; participants will make their own lunch arrangements).

At the end of the Course an attendance certificate will be awarded.
