In this course we will consider the relationship between a meal and the origins of the Christian Eucharist, of the Eucharist and Christ’s miracles of the multiplication of the loaves, the historical development of Eucharistic theology and practice, the renewal of the Eucharistic liturgy at Vatican II, and finally the relationship between the Eucharist and the hungers of the world.
